‘I am Happy’ sheds light on the creative culture and humanity that resides in the favelas (slums) of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Via portraits of a graffiti artists, samba dancers, police officers and maids this documentary focuses on how these individuals persevere and perceive happiness during economic and social hardship.

リオのファヴェーラ(スラム街)で暮らすグラフティ・アーティスト、サンバダンサー、警察官、そして家政婦。経済的な困難を抱えつつも彼らが日々幸福を感じながら生きていることを描くドキュメンタリー。ファヴェーラから生まれる文化やそこに暮らす人々の人間性に光を当てる。

“Eu Sou Feliz” dá destaque para a cultura criativa e humanitária que existe nas favelas do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil. Através das imagens de um artista grafiteiro, dançarinos de samba, policiais e empregadas, este documentário mostra como esses moradores conservam e concebem a felicidade durante épocas de grande dificuldade econômica e social.
