REVIEWS FROM CUSTOMERS:

This is still the Irish bar to beat for me. Great drinks and atmosphere. Due to this being an mostly English bar there are always other people to talk to if you aren’t a Japanease speaker on vacation. Many of the people in the bar are English teachers from Canada, the UK, and the US and is a GREAT place to meet other English speakers to discuss Japan and well… anything.

RECOMMENDATION OF THE HOUSE:

  • Salad Meshwiya (1,180yen)
  • Brick (800yen)
  • Couscous (per person 1,880yen , for sharing 2,700yen)

COMMENTS FROM CUSTOMERS:

  • Hannibal offers Tunisian cooking, such as mechoui salad, roasted chicken and dishes spiced with harissa (a hot sauce from northern Africa). Check their website for the belly-dance show schedule, which happens usually twice a month.
  • Chef Mondher Gheribi’s Tunisian home cooking adds another dimension to this colourfully cosmopolitan area. He draws on influences from around the Mediterranean, but his best dishes are the ones that hail from his homeland – mechoui salad, excellent roast chicken stuffed with banana and herbs, and home-made khobz bread served with red-hot harissa sauce.

  • I spent four months in Tokyo. During that time, the pink cow became a second home for me. The food, the atmosphere, the people, it’s all great. The head chef and the owner, Traci, are great and friendly. The two american bartenders when I was there were hilarious. It’s a great place to dine, and an aazing place to meet new people. If I miss one thing about Tokyo, It’s the Pink Cow.
  • Just great service ,great staff and great food!!

  • Guacamole
  • Ensalada de la casa
  • Sopa de mariscos
  • Camarones al tequila
  • Enchiladas tricolor
  • Flan de la casa

COMMENTS OF THE CUSTOMERS:

  • They’re a bit on the expensive side, and the interior resembles a theme park, but the musicians wandering among the tables add a festive atmosphere.
  • The location was a bit hard to tell although it’s not far from Shibuya st. Foods were good as an introduction to taste some traditional Mexican foods (chile ennogadas, guacamoles, tacos, etc). Most of the staff were latinos pumping up the exotic atmosphere 🙂 But what I liked the most was that the live music they had. There was a Mexican band playing and singing around the table (song request available), was very nice and friendly.
  • I am a Mexican from Mexico City. This restaurant is the best Mexican food restaurant that you can find in all Asia. The food was excellent, just like in Mexico.  And the lady owner in “La Fonda de la Madrugada” speak fluent spanish after she spend more than two years living in Mexico, and all the staff in the restaurant are Mexican, waitress, cook and the musicians. And the best part was that the day I was there at least was completely full of eaters, all of them were Japanese, except for me. The food was just like in Mexico, the tortillas were amazingly identical as in Mexico. and Chilly sauce were fresh and with good taste. the guacamole was fresh and smooth with a bit of lemon juice and chilly.
