Arthur & Sabrina: New Album Release 2010.06.04

Arthur Vital and Sabrina Hellmeister are releasing their new album: “A Rosa e o Girassol”.
They are part of the Brazilian immigrants generation who came to Japan and made their musical careers here.
The album produced by Takashi Horiuchi, points out the power of Arthur’s guitar playing and the authentic vocal interpretations of both singers for new and old songs.

Brazilian Film Director Nelson Pereira dos Santos Special Exhibition 2010.05.21-06.03

Special Film Exhibition
Nelson Pereira dos Santos is a Brazilian movie director. He directed movies such as Vidas Secas (Barren Lives), based on the book with the same name by Brazilian writer Graciliano Ramos. He also directed Rio 40°(his first feature film) which was released in 1955. The film is a chronicle of life in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, and it influenced several other directors, spurring the Cinema Novo moment.
